Khamiri Roti

I sit here in my kitchen as dinner time quickly approaches. Debating between fellowship (with my kids being baby sat) or staying home because I know logically as a good parent it is the RIGHT thing to do because Brett is sick enough that walking half way down the street had him so winded he had to sit down and take a break. I am worn out today , possibly because I had to sleep on the couch and I haven’t worked out today, and dare I say it I too may be getting 😦
I am also edgy (PMS?) and my thinking of a good parent knows it’s not a good choice may not so much apply to me today considering I yelled and spanked my kids today then I proceeded to dump all there toys out to pick up because trash does NOT belong in the toy box (nor do shoes, clothes or underwear!) after they were done…I threw away half there toys
Bahh I win mother of the year award! I was shitty to the core 😥 I despise being that mom and I had to do it last week too! I know that it won’t cause them to grow up into woman killers or mom haters but I am seriously sportin some mama guilt so here is to pizza, popcorn and dance party tonight! Then a four day weekend after tomorrow
I couldn’t help it, the Curry Cuisine book I picked up at the library has been calling to me so instead of pitas we are having Kharimi Roti and heres how you can make it too!
Ingredient List
1 tsp yeast
1/4 tsp sugar
1 1/4 or 4 cups of white or wheat flour (I did 1/2 and 1/2)
1 tsp salt

Combine flour and salt in a bowl and sift together

Combine yeast, sugar and water in another bowl let sit 15 minutes or until frothy

Add ingredients together plus 1 and 1/4 cup water

Knead for 8-10 minutes

Then form 8 little balls and store in a warm place for 30 minutes

Now roll balls into 9 inch disks
Bake on a non stick cookie sheet for 5 minutes

Serve hot and eat immediately
