So I have been rocking ZWOW on YouTube for 23 days today (I did 100 Burpees today!!!)
So 5 weeks ago vs today will be pics πŸ™‚
Today I added in Jamie Eason livefit which is weights- cj even did this with me and committed to cleaner eating πŸ™‚
I’m sooo excited by the clean eating I could pee- he’s high risk for diabetes so woo hoo

Okay measurements from 11/5/12 beginning of Zwow (that Thursday actually)

Total lost 2 inches and zero pounds with awesome gains

Something to Spice up Your Morning :heyhey:

Okay, I totally feel obligated to go giggity giggity with this post title. Bahaha my immaturity shows πŸ˜€

Soooo… I promised a special treat and I went back and forth on if it would be exactly what I had told the paper recipe wise and Ive decided to switch it up a touch.

Vanilla Coffee and Peppermint Whipping Cream
So let me start with I like my coffee very, very sweet so sugar to taste
In a pot (because I don’t have a coffee maker) add 3/4 cup coffee
1/4 cup milk
3 tbsp sugar

Warm it up but don’t burn it!
Remove from heat add 1/2 tsp vanilla and stir

Whipping cream (this makes a boat load)
1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
Whip to peaks (I used my Kitchenaid and it took a while so make this ahead of time)


Chili & It’s leftover redo!!

Have you ever made an awesomely huge vat of protein packed, nutrient filled amazing chili? I have- and then had to eat chili every meal for the next week … Not so awesome :-/

Well here is a great recipe for chili- vegetarian style and a next day meal!!

2 cans black beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can pinto beans
1 huge can crushed tomatoes
1 diced onion
1 diced Red pepper
1 chopped jalapeΓ±o
2 tbsp taco seasoning

SautΓ©e veggies
Put ingredients into pot to simmer
Serve with cheese and chips

Baked Potatoes with Chili
Bake 4 potatoes
Scoop out ‘meat of the potatoes’
Add chili and cheese
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes

I Must Be A Little Crazy

Although most of us have known this for sometime! I agreed today to have my food (and blog!) in the newspaper- and they are coming Thursday!!! Normally this is a non-issue but with breaking being over-uh, yesterday and my blog being not up to date (thank you very much lack of interwebs connection). I feel like I need to be cleaning and cooking non-stop til Thursday!!

Well, since I know that’s not going to happen (cleaning). I shall cook and how’s this for commitment- I will now have to post atleast one delish dish a week- sorry more than that is too much for me πŸ™‚

Well I misses the weigh in- 138.2 πŸ™‚ yummy food and weightloss!

I want to remind my bestie on the beach- abs are made in the kitchen but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have to taste good πŸ™‚

Gah, sorry about the lack of posting Monday! Whitey, CJs step-dad is in the hospital- we don’t know what’s wrong exactly but it’s getting worse so we need prayers please! And Peggy,
CJs mama broke her foot so need prayers for her too! We will be having thanksgiving in a park in boulder next to the hospital 😦 but we will be decorating the house sat with Peg since right now it looks like whitey will be in the hospital until Monday (yesterday am it was Wednesday and the stay keeps getting longer)

My kids requested healthy food!

Last night I wasn’t feeling fab so I offered the off spring some Mac and cheese out of a box (gasp) and they said no! They wanted home made healthy Mac and cheese πŸ™‚ :love: well I made the m&c from the box…with a few alterations…

Boil water with diced onion and minced spinach
Add mac and boil
Drain water but not veggie
Add milk (2%) and butter
1/2 packet of powdered cheese
1/2 cup cheese (I used Monterey jack)

As sides I used sweet potato fries and baby corn.


Check in!

So I’m down to 31.9% body fat, not a huge decrease since my weight is the same but we will see, this week I’m committing to less processed than last week πŸ™‚

My work out schedule this week is
M- 30 min run, Zwow 3,
T- 55 min run, Zwow 4, 6 week 6 pack
W- 45 tempo run, Zwow 5
Th- Zwow 6, 6 wk 6 pk
F- 30 min run, Zwow7
S- 11 mile run

I can’t wait to see what my measurements are on Monday πŸ™‚ hopefully awesomeness!!

Food food

Lunch yesterday and today and dinner yesterday!!
You don’t need to starve to keep low cal!! Dinner yesterday
Mini pot pie
1 cup wheat flour
1 cup milk
1 tsp baking powder
Filling cheese and left over veggies

Fill cupcake tin with 1 tbsp pie, 1/4 cup filling top with 1 tbsp pie and back at 350 for 25 min serve and enjoy!

I got home one week and two days ago from my grandfathers funeral which was four days of amazing rich tdf foods and dear lord it was good and carried on after I got home so now it’s time to get back at it.

Of working out with the park and play workouts! I have gone from working out and feeling overly challenged to feeling like its so easy (switching it up for the next 9 weeks! Which I will touch on that later)
